YLD Spring Meeting

The Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia 2025 Spring Meeting will be held March 28-30 at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The hotel cut-off has been extended to March 8.

Notice of Motions to Amend the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar of Georgia

No earlier than 30 days after the publication date of this Notice, the State Bar of Georgia will file Motions to Amend the Rules and Regulations for the Organization and Government of the State Bar of Georgia, pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court of Georgia dated December 6, 1963 (219 Ga. 873) and amended by subsequent orders, and published in the State Bar of Georgia Handbook.

Any member of the State Bar of Georgia who wishes to obtain a printed copy of these proposed amendments may do so by sending such request to the following address:

I hereby certify that the motions contain the verbatim text of the proposed amendments as approved by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia. Any member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia who desires to object to part or all of these proposed amendments to the rules is reminded that he or she may only do so in the manner provided by Rule 5-102 before March 3, 2025. Any objections received or filed after said date will not be considered. This statement and the verbatim text of the proposed amendments are intended to comply with the notice requirements of Rule 5-101.
